Executive Development Program on Supply Chain Management

The program started in January 2007 and has already produced five (5) batches of graduates. Target group are top corporate executives and professionals who are committed to excellence in developing and managing successful and world-class supply chain strategies and operations in this increasing global and competitive environment.
 
The program consists of five modules that aim to enhance executive skills and equip participants with the latest strategies and methodologies in supply chain management to reduce costs, increase customer satisfaction and better utilize assets.

Diploma Program in Supply Chain Management
Major in Purchasing / Logistics Operations

The program started in February 2003 and has already produced 10 batches of graduates. The course is designed on a modular system and is intended for professionals and fresh college graduates who are new to the purchasing and supply management functions. There are two areas of specialization that a student can choose, depending on the requirements of his job or his interest. Each module completed entitles each student with a certificate while completion of all modules entitles each student with a diploma.

Diploma Program in Supply Chain Management

The program started in November 2008 and is composed of six modules covering the four pillars of supply management and key business management subjects essential to the development of supply chain management professionals. To date, there are already three (3) batches of graduates.
 
Participants will understand the concepts and best practices in supply chain and its strategic value to an organization, learn the impact of procurement in profitability, know the importance of customer relations, logistics operations, product supply and distribution, and learn important business management skills.

 

Angeles University Foundation

Diploma Program in Supply Chain Management

To cater the needs of supply management professionals in Northern Luzon, the institute recently partnered with Angeles University Foundation to offer the Diploma Program in Supply Chain Management. The program is composed of six modules covering the four pillars of supply management and key business management subjects essential to the development of supply chain management professionals and is slated to launch this year, 2011.
 
Participants will understand the concepts and best practices in supply chain and its strategic value to an organization, learn the impact of procurement in profitability, know the importance of customer relations, logistics operations, product supply and distribution, and learn important business management skills.

 

University of San Jose – Recoletos (in partnership with Cebu Chapter)

Diploma Program in Supply Chain Management

To cater the needs of supply management professionals in Visayas, the institute supported the PISM Cebu Chapter to launch the program in partnership with University of San Jose – Recoletos. The program started in August 2010 and produced the 1st batch of graduates last April 30, 2011. It is composed of six modules covering the four pillars of supply management and key business management subjects essential to the development of supply chain management professionals.
 
Participants will understand the concepts and best practices in supply chain and its strategic value to an organization, learn the impact of procurement in profitability, know the importance of customer relations, logistics operations, product supply and distribution, and learn important business management skills.

 

University of Makati

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Supply Management

In 2002, PISM and UMAK launched the Asia’s first college degree program in purchasing and supply chain management. The course is composed of 13 major subjects and a total of 1,000 hours of OJT. The course aims to equip its graduates with a working knowledge of purchasing and supply chain management by transforming the classroom set-up into a training ground of the students as the Professional Development Center Trainers transfer their knowledge based on years of professional experience.
 
In 2008, the course has been enhanced to a degree program on BSBA Major in Supply Management, which prepares students to take on jobs for entry level positions in supply management at the end of two years. Graduates of the four-year course can be placed in excellent career track jobs. The core of the program is still focused on the four pillars of supply management.
 
The institute with its advocacy arm, the Society of Fellows in Supply Management (SOFSM) provides scholarship to underprivileged but deserving students. To date, there are eight (8) batches of graduates and 95% of them are employed to supply management profession.

 

Jose Rizal University

Bachelor of Commercial Science Major in Supply Management

In 2008, PISM and SOFSM launched the program in partnership with Jose Rizal University. To date, there are 15 students who have completed six (6) semesters and soon to graduate in 2012. The supply management concentration prepares students to assume roles as supply management professionals in profit making and not-for-profit organizations. We provide students with the necessary theoretical, analytical and practical skills required to manage the flow of materials and products from the original source to the final consumer. The program of study emphasizes the demand and replenishment, purchasing, logistics operations and customer service dimensions of the field in supply management.
 
At the end of the two years, the student can be given a Certificate of Completion to certify their readiness to assume entry level positions in supply management. Graduates of the four-year course can be placed in excellent career track jobs.
